Joining the School
Our friendly and diverse school is open to all children irrespective of race, religion, gender, social class and disability. We want to make the admissions process as helpful, clear and efficient as possible. Please get in touch with any questions, whether big or small. We would be delighted to hear from you.
Children are welcome to join us at any stage up to the age of 11, and can be admitted any point in the academic year. Children successfully transfer to us from a range of previous educational backgrounds. In addition to our feeder toddler groups we accept children from a home education background, families from overseas, and children who have previously attended mainstream schools.
The best way to find out whether our school is right for your family is to visit our beautiful educational setting. During your visit you will meet our Educational Co-ordinator, who will explain our school’s unique approach to child-centred learning. You will also meet our Admissions Co-ordinator, who will guide you through the admissions process.
To book a visit or ask any questions please get in touch. We are looking forward to welcoming you to our school.

Age Groups and Classes
Our Kindergarten is open to children aged 3 years onwards. Children are admitted at any point in the academic year following their 3rd birthday.
Every two years our oldest Kindergarten children move on to Lower School as a group, where they form our Transition / Year 1 class. The latest T/1 class started September 2019. The next T/1 class will start in September 2021.
Our nature based education is reflected in our class names, and the children take great pleasure in learning about the trees that their classes are named after. Each class keeps their tree name throughout their journey through Lower School.
Linden Class: our current class 1 / 2 (6 – 7 years and 7 – 8 years)
Oak Class: our current class 3 / 4 (8 – 9 years and 9 – 10 years).
Willow Class: our current class 5 (10 – 11 years).
